The 2026 World Series has reached a decisive point with the Milwaukee Brewers holding a 3-0 series lead.

The Brewers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1 in Game 3 on Monday night, October 26. Robert Gasser delivered a strong performance on the mound while the Brewers' offense overwhelmed the Rays. This victory puts Milwaukee one win away from the first championship in franchise history.

Tampa Bay can still win the series, but they must win the next four games. Game 4 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, at 8 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on Fox, Fox Deportes, and fubo. If the series continues, Game 5 will take place on Wednesday, October 28, also at 8 p.m. ET. Games 6 and 7 are set for Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, respectively, with all remaining games starting at 8 p.m. ET.

The Brewers earned their spot in the World Series by sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. They won the final game 6-4 on Thursday, October 15, to close the series 4-0. This is the first time the Brewers have reached the World Series since 1982.

The Rays won the American League pennant by defeating the Cleveland Guardians in six games. They secured the series with a 7-3 victory in Game 6 on Monday, October 19. Junior Caminero hit a home run during that final game. This is the Rays' third appearance in the World Series and their first since 2020.

Neither team has ever won a World Series title. The Brewers last appeared in 1982, while the Rays last played in 2020. The Rays lost to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008. A new champion will be crowned regardless of the result in the remaining games.

The series began with a 3-2 win for the Brewers in Game 1 on Friday, October 23. They followed that with a 5-4 victory in Game 2 on Saturday, October 24. The Rays have scored four runs total in the first three games of the series.

The playoff path for both teams included several close contests. The Brewers beat the San Diego Padres in three games during the Division Series. The Rays swept the New York Yankees in three games during their Division Series matchup. Cleveland lost to Tampa Bay in the Championship Series after winning the first two games.
