Marcus Theatres is lowering prices on domestic draft beer to $5 for customers attending World Series watch parties at select locations in the Milwaukee area. The promotion runs through the end of the series and is part of a broader package that includes discounted food and special movie screenings.

The company announced the deals on Thursday alongside a slate of showings for two documentaries about the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers. The films, titled "UECK" and "Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers," will be shown at ten Marcus locations across Wisconsin and the Midwest.

Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, stated that the company has waited 44 years for this opportunity. "We've been waiting 44 years for a moment like this, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate alongside our Milwaukee community," Tomachek said. He noted that the goal is to provide a space for fans to gather and watch the team, whether they are reviewing historical footage or simply socializing during live games.

In addition to the $5 beer, participating theaters are offering $9 Game Time Lemonades and $10 medium pizzas. Appetizers are available at half price during the event period. These deals apply to specific sites, including Movie Tavern Brookfield, Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield, Marcus Renaissance, Marcus Menomonee Falls, Marcus North Shore Cinema, and Marcus BistroPlex.

Fans can also access a sports bar experience at The Wall at Gurnee Cinema. For those who prefer to watch on larger screens, TVs and digital projectors are set up in the bars and lounges at the listed locations. The chain is targeting a specific demographic for its loyalty program during the run-up to the series.

Members of the Magical Movie Rewards program who purchase a ticket for any movie through Oct. 31 will receive a voucher for one free Junior popcorn. The voucher is redeemable from Nov. 4 through Nov. 24. Individuals who are not currently members can sign up for free before their visit to qualify for the offer.

Screenings of the 1982 Brewers films are scheduled at Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon, Marcus Green Bay East Cinema in Green Bay, Marcus Hillside Cinema in Delafield, and Marcus Hollywood Cinema and Marcus Valley Grand Cinema in Appleton. Additional showings will take place at Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield, Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema, Marcus Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant, Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Marcus Sheboygan Cinema, and Marcus South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek.
