Netflix will premiere its six-part adaptation of Pride and Prejudice on December 3. The streamer released the series trailer on Tuesday. Emma Corrin plays Elizabeth Bennet, and Jack Lowden portrays Mr. Darcy in the new production.

The series adapts Jane Austen’s 1813 novel. It focuses on the developing romance between the two characters within the social context of 19th-century England. Dolly Alderton wrote the script, and Euros Lyn directs the show.

Olivia Colman plays Mrs. Bennet, while Rufus Sewell takes the role of Mr. Bennet. Freya Mavor appears as Jane Bennet, and Jamie Demetriou is cast as Mr. Collins. The cast also includes Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley and Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham.

Rhea Norwood plays Lydia Bennet, and Siena Kelly portrays Caroline Bingley. Fiona Shaw appears as Lady Catherine de Bourg. Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery debut as Mary Bennet and Kitty Bennet, respectively.

Anjana Vasan, Sebastian Armesto, and Rosie Cavaliero round out the ensemble cast. Corrin serves as an executive producer alongside Laura Lankester, Alderton, Lyn, Will Johnston, and Louise Mutter. Lisa Osborne is listed as the producer.

The series arrives on the streaming platform in just over a month. Viewers can watch the trailer immediately on the service. The premiere date remains fixed for December 3.
