Newegg is selling the ABS Stratos II Ruby pre-built gaming computer for $2,549.99. This price point reflects a $450 reduction from the system's standard list price. The configuration includes an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, and 32GB of DDR5 memory.

The ABS brand belongs to Newegg, which explains the wide availability of these systems on the retailer's platform. Tom's Hardware identified the Stratos II Ruby as the least expensive RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC currently listed on the site. The outlet predicted that the offer would sell out rapidly due to the combination of components and the price cut.

The system relies on AMD's eight-core 9800X3D chip. This processor utilizes 3D V-Cache technology to expand L3 cache capacity to 96MB. The increased cache reduces the need for the CPU to access slower system memory. This design lowers latency and helps maintain stable frame rates during gameplay.

While the chip no longer holds the top spot in Tom's Hardware CPU benchmarks, it remains close to the leaders. The outlet noted that no Intel processor currently matches the gaming performance of AMD's X3D series. The graphics card is a current-generation Nvidia Blackwell unit with 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory.

The RTX 5070 Ti supports 1440p and 4K gaming resolutions. It includes support for DLSS with multi-frame generation. According to Tom's Hardware, the card can handle 4K gaming with ray tracing in modern titles. Users may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games at 4K resolution, but the 16GB of video memory offers more capacity than the 8GB found on the lower-tier RTX 5060 and RTX 5050.

The remaining hardware includes two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB memory modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is provided by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. This drive has sufficient space for multiple large game installations. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet, while a Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages the processor's heat.

In a report dated October 23, 2026, Tom's Hardware labeled the pricing as strong for the current market. The assessment cited the $450 discount and the specific pairing of the 9800X3D processor with the RTX 5070 Ti.
