Apple has published detailed requirements for the iPhone Duo, indicating that the device's peak charging speeds rely on specific third-party or first-party hardware. The support documentation clarifies that the phone does not reach its maximum performance with any arbitrary charger, but rather requires accessories that meet certain power delivery standards.

For wired charging, the company states the phone can reach 50 percent battery in approximately 20 minutes. This speed is contingent on using the USB-C cable included in the packaging and pairing it with a compatible power adapter. Apple lists its own 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max as a suitable option, currently priced at $34. Alternatively, consumers may use a third-party adapter rated for 60W or more, provided it supports Adjustable Voltage Supply and USB Power Delivery 3.2.

Wireless charging offers a slower but still rapid alternative. According to Apple, the iPhone Duo can attain 50 percent battery in roughly 30 minutes when connected to a MagSafe Charger or an adapter rated at 35W or higher. The guidance identifies compatible options from Apple and Anker. The MagSafe Charger is listed at $30.

The reporting notes that third-party charging bricks often provide better value than Apple's own adapters. Anker's 100W charging brick is cited as a top choice for powering iPhones, Macs, and iPads. Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter is described as a reasonable option for those preferring a first-party product at its reduced price. Users seeking more cable length can purchase Apple's official 2-meter USB-C cable, which is available at a discount.

Apple's documentation serves as the primary reference for these technical specifications. The company's support pages outline the exact voltage and wattage thresholds necessary to unlock the advertised charging times for the new device.
